The beta
A free workspace, and a say in what comes next
mbovy is complete and in daily use. During the beta, workspaces are free, and in return we ask to learn from how yours goes: what saved you time, and what did not.
What you get
A workspace on the Studio plan, with every feature: up to 5 people, 2,000 customers, 20 GB of files and the AI companion with its monthly allowance. Free for 180 days from the day we turn it on, and extended while the workspace keeps measuring.
What we ask
The app records the date a workspace first reaches each milestone: first customer, import, fee rule, logged time, statement, invitation and public-form request. Once a month we read those dates, and nothing else: nobody opens your workspace or reads what is in it. Now and then, a short survey of a few questions about what worked and what did not, answered when you have a minute.
What stays yours
Your data, always: an administrator can export the whole workspace at any time. A workspace that stops measuring goes back to the ordinary trial, and nothing is lost while it can be exported.

Free for six to twelve months, as agreed with each one.
A founder discount
A discount on their plan when paid plans start. Its size and how long it lasts are written into each founding agreement.

Their name on this site as a founding workspace, if they agree.
In return, the same as every beta workspace: the milestone dates and the survey. Nothing more is read from the workspace; what a founding workspace tells us about its month, it tells us itself.
To apply, write to us with your firm’s name, what it does, and how many people would use mbovy. The founding agreement is signed by us when the beta ends.
The AI companion during the beta
The AI companion is on in every beta workspace from the first day, on mbovy's account with an AI provider, with nothing to set up. It answers from the lists you can already see, drafts plans and tasks for you to review, and changes nothing until you apply it.
What it may use is the Studio plan's monthly allowance, counted per workspace:
- Every request counts, whoever makes it. A long conversation counts more than a quick question, because each turn carries the conversation so far; a plan, a draft or a report is one request.
- Administrators see the month's requests and the share of the allowance used under Configuration → AI companion and on the plan page.
- When the allowance is used up, the companion's buttons pause with a note until the month changes. Nothing else stops: your work, your reports and your data are untouched.
- A workspace can use its own account with an AI provider instead, with no allowance; an administrator sets it up in the same place.
- Each person may make a few requests a minute; past that, the companion asks to wait a moment.
The beta's allowance is set so that an afternoon of work with the companion does not empty the month. What we measure is how much each workspace uses, never what it asks, and that measurement sets each plan's allowance after the beta.
