AI in mbovy
An assistant that knows your work, three ways to use it
Ask what is overdue, who is overloaded, what a project cost. Use the assistant that comes with mbovy, run it on your own AI account, or connect the AI tool you already use through the mbovy MCP server. Whichever you pick, your customers' names never leave the app.

1 · Included in mbovy
Ask in your own words, from day one
What is overdue for Acme? Who has the most open work? How many hours did we log in September? The assistant answers from the lists you already see, with figures the app computes. Describe a project and it drafts the plan; ask it to move the overdue tasks and it shows each one, old date and new, for you to tick and apply.
- Nothing to set up: on from the first day, in every plan, within a monthly allowance
- Runs on mbovy's AI account; people, customers and projects travel as codes, never as names
- Every change is a proposal until you apply it
2 · Your own AI account
The same assistant, your key, no allowance
Already have an account with an AI provider? An administrator enters your key and picks the model under Configuration → AI companion, and the assistant runs on your account from then on. No monthly allowance, no month-end pause, on any plan.
- Your own provider account and the model you choose; the assistant works the same way
- The key is stored encrypted and tested against your provider before it is saved
- What the provider keeps is between you and it: your account, your terms
3 · Your AI tool, connected to the mbovy MCP server
Bring Claude or Cursor, mbovy becomes one of its tools
Already working in Claude, Cursor or another assistant that speaks MCP? Connect it to your workspace with a personal access token and ask there: what is overdue for me, log thirty minutes on that task, count the open tasks by person. It acts as you, with your permissions, and every answer links to the task it touched.
- Your tool, your AI account: mbovy sends nothing to any AI
- Reads what you could open on screen; changes one task at a time, deletes nothing
- You create the token in your profile; your administrator allows it, bounds it and can revoke it
What never leaves the app
Codes, not names
People, customers and projects reach the provider as "P3" and "C2". The names stay here.
Only what you ask
Nothing goes out in the background. Every call is a person's request, made at that moment, and nothing is sent while the assistant is off.
Your figures, not the model's
Hours, counts and amounts are the app's arithmetic. The AI only puts them into words.
Nobody at mbovy opens a workspace or reads its content, and mbovy trains nothing on your data. Which provider runs the included assistant, where it runs and where your workspace's data is kept are written inside the app, under About. With your own account or your own tool, the provider is the one you chose.
Try the assistant on an example project
Start free with a ready example and ask it what is overdue. Connect your own tool whenever you want; the help has the steps for each client.
